:thumb121418108: Our SongThe two of us have a melody all our own.  You were the piano, striking and harmonious. All along, I followed you.  Stumbling to keep up in time with your rhythm.  Putting words to things that weren’t supposed to have them.  You and I, we’re a song.  That was just the prelude.
Each keystroke of yours is a dark bubbling note that resonated with my warble, and we clashed your bass with my soprano.  It was never mean to be that way.  You played Stand By Me, and I sang When You Believe.  You didn’t believe me, I never stood by you.   I ran away instead.
And the chorus of this song is that together we’re not a perfect match, and maybe we’ll never be.  Sometimes, I hear our song and wonder: maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be?
